今日は地震の避難訓練を行いました。子どもたちは緊急地震速報の音を聞くとすぐに先生の話を聞き、机の下に潜り込みました。

Today we held an earthquake evacuation drill. As soon as the children heard the sound of the earthquake warning announcement, they listened to their teachers and hid under the tables.

子どもたちに「机がなかったらどうする？」と聞くと「防災頭巾をする。」としっかり前回の避難訓練の経験も覚えていました。

また、机も頭巾もなかった場合の練習もしました。「ダンゴムシのように」

When the children were asked, “What would you do if there weren’t any tables around?” they remembered the experience of the previous evacuation drill and said that they’d put on the fire hoods. And if there weren’t any hoods, they would roll into a ball and cover their heads with their hands like a roly-poly.
