When seeing the teacher tracing a square on a window using cardboard, the children started getting interested and asked “What are you doing?” They joined in, at first by drawing basic shapes such as a circle, square…etc. Then they started to draw “outside the box” with their crayons. “I want to draw a lion,” “I want to draw a tree,” and one child made the olympic rings.

先生が窓ガラスに正方形の厚紙で絵を描いているのを見て、子どもたちが興味を持ち始め、「何してるの？」と聞いてきました。

最初は、丸、四角…といった基本的な図形を描くことから始めました。そして、みんな枠にとらわれず、「ライオンを描きたい」「木を描きたい」、そして一人はオリンピックの輪を作りました。

After that, the teacher showed the kids the English letters so they can identify and draw their favorite letters. Soon, several windows were full of the kids’ names, drawings, random shapes, hand prints and so on.

その後、先生が子供たちに英字を見せ、子供たちは自分の好きな字を見分け、描くことができました。

窓は、子供たちの名前、絵、ランダムな形、手形…などでいっぱいになりました。
