[TUFS] We participated in childcare recovery support activities in Kumamoto.

In late August, Seiwa Gakuen dispatched staff to Kumamoto to participate in childcare recovery support activities.

On-site, we collaborated with various organizations, bringing together people from different professions and backgrounds to engage with each child individually.

Instead of thinking, "I do it this way because I'm a childcare worker,"
What kind of environment allows children to be their true selves, feel safe and comfortable, and be themselves? 🌱

I spent each day with the children while thinking about such things.

We also had time to seriously reflect and think with the local people about what "happiness in the present" means to the children.🍃

The thoughts and insights of the volunteers, who come and go every day, are passed on to the next person, gradually creating a chain of connections.
Seeing that scene, I was reminded once again of the importance of people connecting with each other through their feelings, especially with children in mind. 🌿

I would like to express my sincere respect to the children I met through this activity, and to everyone who continues to provide support on the ground.

I sincerely pray for a swift recovery and for the return of days when children can live safely and happily.
