○Event Overview
New Childcare Initiative 2023
Date and time: Sunday, September 10, 2023, 9:30-18:00
Location: University of Tokyo (Yasuda Auditorium, Ito Memorial Hall, Fukutake Learning Theater)
Organized by: "New Childcare Initiative 2023" Executive Committee (Volunteer group of childcare business owners nationwide)
Content: Considering new forms of childcare.
Despite being the first event of its kind, the "New Childcare Initiative 2022" attracted 1,100 participants.
Carrying that same enthusiasm, the event will be held at the University of Tokyo again in 2023.
We are currently standing at the threshold of unprecedented change, marked by a rapid decline in the birthrate and the emergence of ChatGPT. The childcare industry, in which we operate, must also adapt to these changing times.
And it's crucial that this change isn't something we passively accept, but rather something we proactively and independently create.
That's why I want to engage in dialogue about new approaches to childcare, using a variety of themes that are ahead of their time.
I want to create a space where people who are highly sensitive to the needs of children and the future of childcare can gather and exchange opinions in a powerful and expressive manner.

At the three lecture halls of the University of Tokyo, government, industry, and academia came together to pool their knowledge.
From conversations that can only happen in person, and interactions that can only happen in person,
We will create a space to invent new forms of childcare.
